Caulfield horseman Andrew Noblet is looking at bringing his beaten Queen Of The Turf Stakes favourite from the weekend Silent Sedition up to Queensland for the tail-end of the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival 2017.

The four-year-old War Chant mare was far from disgraced at Royal Randwick on Day 2 of The Championships finishing just over a length back for fourth behind Chris Wallerâs gun filly Foxplay in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m).
Silent Sedition was backing up from a win in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley the run prior and was brave in defeat after an on-pace run over the mile on a Soft (7) track.
Saturdayâs race result was just the second time in seventeen career starts that Nobletâs stable ace finished worse than third, but the record is still ultra-impressive with fourth her worst result to date.
âThings didnât work out well and Craig [Williams] said she didnât like the track but considering all that sheâs only been beaten a length in another Group 1 so sheâs run well,â Noblet told Racing Victoria on Sunday.
She now heads to the paddock a Group 1 autumn winner for a well-earned break, but could be back racing as soon as June with the riches in the Sunshine State calling.
Noblet named both the $1.5 million Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on June 10 and the $500,000 Group 1 Tattersallâs Tiara (1400m) back at the track a fortnight later as possible targets.
If not Brisbane, Silent Sedition will be aimed towards some of the key Sydney and Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival features later in the year.
âSheâs going to the paddock up there and weâll have a look at her in about three weeks and see how she is and whether we go to Brisbane or wait for the spring with her,â Noblet said.
Futures Stradbroke Handicap 2017 betting is already open at Ladbrokes.com.au and led by the Darren Weir-trained Black Heart Bart ($13) and Kris Leesâ fellow multiple Group 1 winner Le Romain ($13).
Black Heart Bart was last seen completing the CF Orr â Futurity Stakes double over the 1400m at Caulfield in February.
Four-year-old Le Romain meanwhile won the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) before a second to Winx in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m).
Things went amiss late in his prep, the son of Hard Spun finishing 15th to Itâs Somewhat in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) on April 1.
Silent Sedition is also being kept safe in the all-in Stradbroke Handicap odds paying $15, equal with Michael Moroneyâs TJ Smith Stakes fourth-placed stallion Tivaci.
